Dodge Daytona Launch
Work
Project overview
Buckle up for a high-voltage ride through time! In Dodge's electrifying launch film, the legendary Dodge Brothers — John and Horace — leap from 1914 into 2025, landing in a world of screaming tires and zero emissions. Joined by muscle-car maestro Tim Kuniskis, the trio unveils the world's first all-electric muscle car, the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV. Sparks fly as past meets future, blending raw V8 nostalgia with futuristic EV power. It's a time-bending, tire-smoking spectacle that proves Dodge's brotherhood of muscle is ready to shock the world — literally.
Creative approach
The approach balanced narrative clarity with visual storytelling. Instead of diving straight into features, the script opened with the core problem and why it matters. We layered visuals that showed real use cases, product context, and human interaction to make the technology feel approachable. Interviews and voiceover provided authenticity, while color grading and sound design reinforced tone and pace.
Challenges
The main challenge was reducing complex technical language into something viewers could grasp immediately. The startup operated in a niche sector, and much of their original messaging was geared toward engineers rather than customers or investors. Simplifying without oversimplifying was a key balancing act. Another challenge involved producing visuals that showed the product in action despite limited physical environments. We worked around this by staging realistic scenarios that gave context without fabrication.
Outcomes
The final film helped the startup present a cohesive story during pitch sessions, demos, and outreach campaigns. Internal teams noted an improvement in how quickly prospects understood the company's mission, and social engagement increased as the content was repurposed into shorter clips. Investors commented that the film made early conversations smoother and more focused.
